When I was a child (and I know I'm only 21 now so I'm still relatively a child) but when I was really young, 7 years old, I remember my father had a guitar that I used to bash away on til one day he showed me some chords.
After that its been a musical life ever since, which brings me to why I love ELO.
So when I started with guitar I went through all my dads old cassette tapes for bands to hear more guitarists and I found a ridiculously old and well used copy of óle ELO which I listened to non stop.
Then through my teenage years I started listening to other music and never really listened to them for a period till about 3 years ago when the tape reappeared for a while and I rediscovered my love for ELO. Then, just as suddenly, the tape vanished and I freaked out trying to find it, but I realized that it was about time I updated the collection and went out and bought absolutely every album I could get my hands on to replace that one tape.
And now I listen to ELO all the time and it inspires me.
I should be using the time its taken me to write this to be sorting out a presentation for college on ELO because I'm studying music but I got caught up looking at the website and decided to join up and write to this blog so thanks for distracting me
