Hello everyone, I have just joined this group, having recently bought all of ELO's albums (well, not including the greatest hits and essential collections ones
) - I have not been disappointed, I think all their albums are amazing!!! Just one thing, when I look at certain lyrics websites, they credit ELO with lots of songs which are not on any of my albums. "Brontosaurus", "Kiss Me Red" and "Beautiful Daughter" are just three of many examples on the website I am looking at. Does anyone know of a reliable website which lists all of ELO's songs? If I am missing any, I would like to get them. Thanks!!!!

I guess it should be explained that The Move ran from 1965 to 1972, with Jeff joining around 1970. ELO and The Move therefore ran in parallel during 1971/1972 with similar line-ups
"Beautiful daughter" was written by Roy Wood and released on the Move LP "Shazam" in Feb 1970

"Brontosaurus" was also written by Roy Wood and released as a Move single in March 1970. It also appeared on the Move LP "Looking On" that December.

ELO Part 2 and Orchestra are basically the same band, they had to drop "ELO" from their name for legal reasons.
Brontosaurus & Beautiful Daughter are Move songs. The Move (in case you didn't know) is the band which eventually became ELO. Though they never really had a US hit, they were extremely popular in the UK. Some of their music takes a little getting used to, but it's ALL worth a listen. Also check out The Idle Race. Jeff wrote and sang most of their songs before joining The Move.
Kiss Me Red is a song from the 1990 release Electric Light Orchestra part 2
