While there are several good songs on this album, it seemed to me tha they were nearing the end of the line. I was stationed in England when this album came out and I remember when I first heard Mr. Blue Sky. I was in a pub and it had just stopped raining when it played on the juke box (how appropriate). I liked the song and was anxious to hear more. However, after getting the album I didn't think it was as good as their previous albums, but itwas still a good album. Little did I know atthe time, it would be their last "good effort".

What can I say about this that has not already been said? This was the Peak period for Lynnes imagination and enthuisiasm, Some of the bands finest output is to be found on this Long player.

For me the highlight is undoubtably the conceptual four song 'Concerto For a Rainy Day' starting off with the truly wonderful Standin in the rain through to the evergreen Mr. Blue Sky. This album would propel ELO in to the mega star status, but unfortunately all too brief with the impending doom of Discovery/Xanadu on the horizon.

The best of the best! This album has feeling, something you don't often find in today's music. I listen to these songs over and over and never get tired of them! This is probably Jeff's best work and it proves his genius at song writing and that he is probably the best of my generation and easily surpasses any one else I have heard so far.

NO ENGLISH, SORRY.

ES QUE... CON QUE PALABRAS EMPEZAR???
COMO DECIA DOBLEMENTE GENIAL, EL PERFECTO POP-ROCK DE LOS SETENTAS, UN ALBUM DIGNO DE ADMIRAR, Y COMO LEIA EN UN LIBRO "1000 DISCOS QUE HAY QUE OIR" AHI ESTA!!!!
Y VALE MUCHO LA PENA OIRLO, AUN SI NO ERES ELOMANITICO COMO YO.
SWEAT TALKIN' WOMAN, JUNGLE, LATITUDE 88 NORTH, Y STANDIN' IN THE RAIN.....OHH SON FABULOSAS!!!!, TE LA RIFASTE JEFF!!! LA ORQUESTACION EN STANDIN' IN THE RAIN ES TAN PERFECTA, Y AUN MAS SI LA ESCUCHAMOS DEL CONCIERTO DE LA GIRA "OUT OF THE BLUE" EN WEMBLEY. CLARO QUE LAS DEMAS CANCIONES NO SE QUEDAN ATRAS.
