Name of song

I'm trying to find the name of an ELO song, so I thought I would come to where the top fans are.

I seem to remember it's one of ELO's longer songs, that starts with an extended opening with some rather weird sounds, some orchestral music, and a guitar riff that is something like: da-da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da, da-da-da-da-da, da-da-da, etc.

Fire On High, but to be sure, go back and listen to all their albums in order, all the way through and then start over...

I think you got it right the first time. Fire On High definitely opens up with the bizarre sound effects and the backwards messages mixed with orchestral interludes before rocking out. It sure sounds like what he is describing anyway.

I think I've actually got it - I think you're looking for Fire On High, on the album Face The Music (1975). This one has the most distinct guitar riffs that I think you're looking for.

I think you're looking for Eldorado Overture - it's the opening track of the album Eldorado (1974). Let me know if it's the one...
