Not what I expected after "Out of the Blue", but I think this album contains something for everyone. You can tell Jeff was stretching the musical muscle on this one.

After Xanadu this album should have been the one to come out. This brings back the classic ELO sound where you can here Jeff's guitar playing. The songs on this album are much stronger and really stand on their own.

This Box set effort is by far the best. Afterglow was a crime to put out. This collection makes up for that mistake.

Probably one of the most solid albums ELO put out.

It is not Jeff's best work. But the album does contain some good songs like "So Serious", "Getting to the Point", and "Calling America". But you really listen to this record this was the last band album.
